It is Ordered and Enacted by the Authority aforesaid that noe person or persons whatsoever Inhabitting or residing uppon this Island shall after the publication hereof remove or change their habitation from one Division to another, but hee shall be obliged to take a Ticket or Certificate from the Captayne or Commander of the Company or Division from whome hee removeth, to the Captayne or Commander of the Division where hee goeth to settle, which Tickett or Certificate hee shall deliver or raise to be delivered to the Captayne or Commander of the Division whether hee removeth within three dayes after hee comeing thither And whosoever shall neglecte to doe soe shall forfeite for every sure offence One hundred pounds of Tobaccoe, And it is further ordered and Enacted by the Authority aforesaid that every Captain or Commander to whome such Tickett shall be delivered shall returne in the name of the party (if a freeman) into the Secretaryes Office within six dayes after the receipt thereof, or before the next generall Court uppon penalty of forfeiting and paying for every omission One hundred pounds of Tobaccoe.
